Our commitment to the safety of every patient and staff member within our practice is unwavering.
We will take care of COVID-19 patients and all patients following all the appropriate policies and procedures to keep them and our staff safe. That includes following the World Health Organization’s (WHO) evidence-based guidance for personal protective equipment. The WHO guidelines have been endorsed by the Washington State Department of Health and local health departments.
•If you have a fever, cough, runny nose or respiratory infection please call our clinic to speak with a nurse and you will be given further instructions and precautions. You may need to be rescheduled or be seen for further evaluation.
•We highly encourage patients that are eligible for telemedicine to utilize this service so that we can limit your need to come to the clinic.
•If you have come in contact with anyone known to have the virus, please call our office prior to your appointment to determine if you need to be rescheduled.
•A staff member at each NWMS clinic entrance will screen visitors for symptoms, travel history and contact with others as well as perform a temperature check before they are allowed enter the facility.
•As a reminder, to ensure the ongoing safety of our patients and staff, NWMS has a strict visitor policy in place. We are currently not allowing patients to have visitors, unless they are disabled,or this is their first new patient appointment or treatment teach visit.
•All staff will be wearing masks as a safety precaution, not because they are ill. Staff that are ill will not be permitted to work.

•Patients that are positive for symptoms will be isolated while in the clinic.
•At this time we are not providing the COVID-19 antibody testing. This specific test is currently not FDA approved. We plan to closely follow the CDC and local health authority guidance on when and how we should be providing antibody testing. You will be notified by your provider if this test is available at NWMS in the future
